How to use this pity calculator

  • Pick the banner you're pulling on. Featured and Rotating keep separate counts, so use the numbers for that banner.
  • Enter how many pulls you've made since your last SSR. If that SSR wasn't the pickup, tick the 50/50 box.
  • Enter the pulls you've already made on this banner, which count toward its 120-pull guarantee.
  • Add your contracts and any Rutacoin or vouchers you'd convert. The result updates as you type and stays in your browser.

How the Monster Hunter Outlanders pity system works

Every limited banner starts at a 0.6% SSR rate. From pull 74 the rate climbs by 6 points a pull, reaching 96.6% on pull 89, and pull 90 is a guaranteed SSR. Each SSR has a 50% chance of being the pickup. If it isn't, your next SSR is.

On top of that, each banner has a one-time guarantee: the pickup arrives within 120 pulls on that banner. That's why the chance jumps from about 70% at pull 119 to 100% at pull 120. Read the full rules in our gacha rates guide.

What this pity calculator assumes

  • Your pity count and 50/50 state carry between banners of the same type, as the notice says. The 120 count doesn't.
  • After a forced pickup at pull 120 we reset your pity to 0. The notice doesn't spell this out, but an SSR normally resets it.
  • Featured and Rotating banners keep separate pity counts. Enter the count for the banner you picked.
  • Check the in-game rates page too. These rules are from the notice dated October 29, 2026, and can change.

How accurate is this calculator?

We calculate exact odds, pull by pull, rather than simulating them. Using the published schedule, the long-run SSR rate comes out at 1.6052%, against 1.6063% printed in the notice, a gap of 0.0011 points we can't fully explain. The Beginner banner matches the notice's 2.0803% exactly. We've tried other readings of the schedule, such as soft pity starting at pull 73, and they land further from the official figure.
